About Formula
I created Fruity Green Tea Supreme first for myself as a refreshing summer green tea — something smooth, fruity, cooling, and enjoyable enough to drink every morning. After testing it, I decided to offer it as a new product.
This is not a plain green tea. It starts with Premium Chun Mee Green Tea, then I blend it with apple, mango, spearmint, fennel, cardamom, cinnamon, and rose petals to make it smoother, naturally sweeter, and more refreshing. The fruit softens the green tea, the spearmint brightens it, the fennel adds a gentle sweetness, and the rose petals give it a clean, aromatic finish.
HerbMan note: I made this for myself first.
This tea is especially enjoyable for:
– A smooth morning green tea
– A fruity caffeinated tea without artificial flavoring
– A refreshing iced tea for warm weather
– A lighter alternative to coffee
– A clean, uplifting tea with fruit, mint, spice, and floral notes
Since this blend is more than 50% green tea, it is clearly caffeinated. For most people, this makes it best as a morning or early afternoon tea, not an evening tea.
About Herbs
Premium Chun Mee Green Tea (Camellia sinensis) – Chun Mee is a well-known Chinese green tea valued for its smooth, brisk flavor and naturally fruity character. It is also called “Precious Eyebrows” because the leaves are rolled into a curved eyebrow-like shape. I chose Chun Mee because it gives this blend a clean, refreshing green tea base with real character.
Spearmint (Mentha spicata) – Traditionally used as a cooling, refreshing herb, spearmint adds a clean, naturally sweet taste that matches perfectly with the fruit and makes the tea especially good iced.
Cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum) – Known as the “King of Spices,” cardamom adds a warm, aromatic spice note and premium depth of flavor. According to traditional herbal use, cardamom is also valued for supporting comfortable digestion after meals.
Apple Pieces (Malus domestica) – Add natural fruit sweetness and help soften the stronger green tea taste.
Mango Pieces (Mangifera indica) – Bring a smooth tropical fruit flavor that makes the tea refreshing and enjoyable.
Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum) – Traditionally used as a warming aromatic spice, cinnamon adds depth, comfort, and a naturally sweet spice note.
Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) – Traditionally used to support digestive comfort, fennel adds mild natural sweetness and a smooth herbal finish.
Rose Petals (Rosa damascena) – Traditionally used for their cooling, aromatic nature, rose petals add appealing color and aroma before you even take one sip, giving the tea a light floral finish and a more premium feel.
HerbMan note: A good green tea should have a known style and clean taste, so I built this around quality Chun Mee green tea.
Together, these ingredients create a fruity green tea with more depth, more flavor, and a smoother taste than ordinary green tea. That is why we call it Supreme.
How to Take
Use 1–2 teaspoons of loose-leaf tea per cup.
Hot tea instructions:
– Add hot water, but not boiling water if possible
– Cover and steep for 3–5 minutes for a lighter, fresher taste
– For a stronger cup, steep longer according to your preference
– Strain before drinking if you want the cleanest flavor
For iced tea: Make a stronger infusion, allow it to cool, then refrigerate or pour over ice. Sweeten if desired.
HerbMan note: Green tea gets stronger the longer it steeps. For guests, I steep it shorter; for myself, I often let it get stronger.
This tea is best enjoyed in the morning or early afternoon.
Tips & Notes
This blend is more than 50% green tea, so it contains natural caffeine. For many people, this makes it a good morning tea, but not the best choice late in the evening.
HerbMan note: Because it is caffeinated, I would not give too much to children, and caffeine-sensitive people may only want a small amount.
For the freshest taste, strain the tea or remove the infuser within 5–10 minutes, depending on how strong you like it. If you like a stronger green tea, you can leave it longer.
