About Oil

Ayurvedic Inflammation and Pain Oil is a deeply therapeutic oil traditionally used to relieve joint pain, reduce inflammation, and strengthen the musculoskeletal system. Made in a sesame oil base, this formula pacifies Vata dosha—the primary cause of stiffness, pain, and degeneration in Ayurveda.

Known in Ayurveda for its dual use—external massage and internal oral support—this oil addresses both symptoms and root causes of joint and nerve-related issues. Externally, it relieves stiffness and pain. Internally (for those with strong digestion), it supports systemic inflammation reduction and speeds healing in chronic cases such as arthritis and degenerative conditions.

Key Benefits:

  • Reduces inflammation and pain in joints, muscles, and nerves
  • Strengthens bones, joints, and connective tissue
  • Pacifies aggravated Vata and supports nervous system stability
  • Can be used internally and externally for enhanced effectiveness
  • Ideal for chronic pain, stiffness, arthritis, and osteoarthritis
About Herbs
  • Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) – Traditionally used to strengthen nerves and muscles, reduce Vata-related pain, and support tissue regeneration
  • Guggulu (Commiphora mukul) – Known in Ayurveda for reducing inflammation, removing toxins from joints, and enhancing circulation
  • Shallaki (Boswellia serrata) – A key herb for joint repair; supports mobility and eases swelling and stiffness
  • Rasna (Pluchea lanceolata) – Used to relieve back pain, joint pain, and muscular stiffness
  • Nirgundi (Vitex negundo) – Reduces inflammation and pain in swollen joints; calms irritated tissues
  • Dashamoola – A classic 10-root formulation that pacifies Vata and supports overall musculoskeletal balance
  • Turmeric (Curcuma longa) – A powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant known to improve flexibility and joint movement

These herbs are traditionally decocted into sesame oil using classical Ayurvedic preparation methods, ensuring deep tissue penetration and maximum therapeutic potency.

Tips & Notes

Dietary guidelines:
Follow a Vata-balancing diet: Avoid cold, dry, raw, and processed foods. Emphasize warm, oily, nourishing meals such as kitchari, cooked root vegetables, and ghee. Use anti-inflammatory spices like turmeric and ginger. Stay hydrated with warm herbal teas and avoid late-night eating.

Dietary changes are important for effective treatment. Avoid aggravating foods and follow appropriate dietary guidelines for your condition.

Note: These Ayurvedic formulas are more powerful than teas, tinctures, or single herbs. You will notice many of these formulas are often formulas within formulas totaling up to 50 herbs in one product. Ayurvedic products are generally used for specific health issues and often for different types of health issues based on Vata, Pitta, or Kapha imbalances. Thus, read about each product carefully before purchasing.

For major or complex health issues, it is recommended to do a Zoom appointment with Khabir, who will provide custom formulas or teas along with personalized dietary guidelines.
