About Formula
This potent Ayurvedic formula is traditionally used to address respiratory congestion involving mucus and excess Kapha in the lungs and sinuses. Based on the classical blend Talisadi Churna, it is enhanced with additional herbs and a mineral catalyst to deepen its therapeutic effect.

According to Ayurveda, wet cough, asthma with mucus, bronchitis, and post-nasal drip are caused by Kapha accumulation in the lungs and aggravated by cold or damp conditions. This formula is heating, mucus-clearing, and immune-strengthening.

Traditionally used to support:
  • Clearing excess mucus from the lungs, sinuses, and airways
  • Opening the respiratory channels for easier breathing
  • Reducing inflammation in the lungs and bronchial passages
  • Relieving snoring caused by phlegm congestion
  • Strengthening lung function and respiratory immunity
This formula is not intended for dry respiratory conditions. For dry cough or asthma with little to no mucus, use the dry version instead.
About Herbs
  • Vasaka (Adhatoda vasica) – Known in Ayurveda for its ability to open bronchial passages and expel phlegm, helping reduce breathlessness and clear wet cough.
  • Tulsi (Ocimum sanctum) – Traditionally used to reduce mucus, combat infection, and strengthen lung immunity.
  • Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia) – A powerful rasayana that modulates immune responses, cools inflammation, and supports long-term lung health.
  • Pushkarmool (Inula racemosa) – Used historically to relieve respiratory blockages and improve oxygen flow by breaking down phlegm.
  • Kantakari (Solanum xanthocarpum) – A classical Ayurvedic herb traditionally used to reduce phlegm, alleviate coughing, and support bronchodilation.
  • Talisadi Churna – A traditional Ayurvedic formulation containing Talisa, Pippali, Ela, and other warming expectorants, used for centuries to relieve productive cough and clear excess mucus.
  • Abhrak Bhasma – A purified mica preparation used in Ayurveda to deeply rejuvenate lung tissue, enhance herb absorption, and increase respiratory endurance.
These herbs work together to pacify Kapha and clear respiratory obstructions, while also supporting Pitta balance during inflammation and infection.
How to Take
Dosage:
Take 1 teaspoon of powder in 2–3 tablespoons of warm water with enough raw honey to form a syrup.

How to Take:
Sip slowly. Do not drink water immediately after to allow the syrup to coat the throat and upper respiratory tract.

Frequency:
3 to 4 times daily. Increase during acute congestion or flare-ups. Reduce gradually as symptoms improve.

Best Practices:
Frequent small doses are more effective than one large dose. Avoid taking with cold drinks or heavy food.

Pair with or one or more of the following:
  • Lung Decongest Tea – Clears mucus from the lungs and sinuses while soothing inflamed bronchial tissue
  • Bronchodilator Formula – Supports respiratory passages; traditionally used as a natural alternative to inhalers
  • Respiratory Formula for Allergies – Targets allergic asthma, post-nasal drip, and seasonal respiratory irritation
  • Ayurvedic Respiratory Tonic (Dry Version) – Use when symptoms shift from wet to dry to prevent relapse or lingering cough
  • Ayurvedic Respiratory Ghee – Deeply nourishes and rejuvenates lung tissue; ideal for chronic respiratory weakness
Tips & Notes
Dietary guidelines:
Follow a Kapha-reducing diet: Avoid dairy, sugar, cold foods, bread, and bananas. Emphasize warm, cooked, light meals with ginger, turmeric, and black pepper. Avoid napping and staying in damp or humid environments.

Note: These Ayurvedic formulas are more powerful than teas, tinctures, or single herbs. You will notice many of these formulas are often formulas within formulas, totaling up to 50 herbs in one product. Ayurvedic products are generally used for specific health issues and often based on Vata, Pitta, or Kapha imbalances. Thus, read about each product carefully before purchasing.

For chronic respiratory issues, snoring, or asthma, it is recommended to do a Zoom appointment with Khabir, who can provide custom formulas and full dietary guidance.
