[tab name='About Formula']
This potent Ayurvedic formula is traditionally used to support skin health in individuals experiencing hot, red, burning, or inflammatory skin conditions—especially when associated with excess Pitta in the blood, liver, or digestive tract.
Known in Ayurveda for:
- Cooling internal heat and calming the skin
- Supporting detoxification of the blood and liver
- Promoting healing in inflammatory conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, acne, and rosacea
- Preventing recurrence of skin flare-ups by balancing Pitta dosha
Key Benefits:
- Clears heat from the blood and liver
- Reduces redness, swelling, and skin irritation
- Promotes skin healing and tissue regeneration
- Supports long-term detoxification and immune balance
- Helps prevent bacterial aggravation of skin conditions
This is a deeper, stronger formula than the mild Pitta skin blend and is recommended when more powerful herbal action is needed to calm chronic or severe inflammation.
[tab name='About Herbs']
Each herb in this formula has been traditionally used in Ayurveda for purifying the blood, cooling the skin, and calming Pitta:
- Manjistha (Rubia cordifolia): Known in Ayurveda as one of the most powerful blood purifiers; traditionally used to cool Pitta, clear chronic skin conditions, and reduce redness and inflammation.
- Kamadudha Ras: A classical Ayurvedic compound containing herbs and mineral preparations known to pacify excess Pitta and reduce internal burning and irritation.
- Red Sandalwood (Rakta Chandana): Traditionally used to soothe heat, inflammation, and itching. Acts as a natural skin purifier.
- Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus): A nourishing and cooling rasayana that supports hormonal balance and skin hydration, particularly in heat-triggered or stress-related skin issues.
- Kumari (Aloe Vera): Traditionally used to cool and hydrate the skin, reduce inflammation, and assist in the healing of heat-induced tissue damage.
- Haldi (Turmeric, Curcuma longa): A cornerstone of Ayurvedic medicine for its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and liver-cleansing effects; helps reduce itching and support skin regeneration.
- Neem (Azadirachta indica): Known in Ayurveda for its antibacterial, antifungal, and blood-purifying actions. Used to prevent infection and calm hot, inflamed skin.
These herbs work synergistically to cool Pitta, purify the blood, and support the healing of chronic skin imbalances.

[tab name='Tips & Notes']
Dietary guidelines:
Follow a Pitta-pacifying diet: emphasize cool, moist, and mild foods. Avoid hot spices, nightshades (tomatoes, peppers, eggplant), vinegar, garlic, onions, and acidic foods. Eliminate fried and oily dishes. Include cooling foods such as cucumber, coriander, fresh coconut water, and bitter leafy greens. Use ghee liberally. Avoid direct sun and heat exposure when possible.
Note: These Ayurvedic formulas are very powerful compared with teas, tinctures, or single herbs. Many include formulas within formulas—up to 50 herbs per product—carefully selected for their synergistic effects. Ayurvedic remedies are traditionally selected based on Vata, Pitta, or Kapha imbalances, so read each product description carefully before use.
