About Formula
This Ayurvedic formula is traditionally used to purify the blood, reduce skin inflammation, and promote healthy skin tissue regeneration. It is ideal for conditions such as acne, eczema, rashes, and itching—especially when associated with internal toxicity, sluggish detoxification, or weakened immunity.

According to Ayurveda, skin disorders are often linked to imbalances in Vata and Kapha doshas that result in dryness, sluggish lymph, and toxin accumulation. This formula helps restore skin balance from within by cleansing the blood, calming inflammation, and improving tissue healing.

Traditionally used in Ayurveda to support:
  • Internal detoxification of the blood and lymph
  • Clearer, less congested skin with improved tone
  • Relief from acne, dry rashes, itching, and eczema
  • Antibacterial and antifungal protection from skin flare-ups
  • Vata- and Kapha-related skin imbalances
This formula is best for dry, itchy, acne-prone, or sluggish skin without excessive heat. For red, burning, or inflamed skin, use Skin Formula #60.
About Herbs
Haridrakhand Churna – A classical Ayurvedic blend of 8 herbs traditionally used to purify the blood, reduce inflammation, and promote healthy skin.

Manjistha (Rubia cordifolia) – Known in Ayurveda as the primary blood purifier; supports pigment balance, reduces acne, and promotes healing of scar tissue.

Neem (Azadirachta indica) – Bitter, cooling, and cleansing; used to reduce inflammation, combat bacteria and fungi, and relieve itching and skin irritation.

Khadir (Acacia catechu) – Astringent and detoxifying; used for treating eczema, acne, allergic skin conditions, and promoting a clear complexion.

Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia) – An immune-modulating herb that reduces inflammation and supports tissue healing in chronic or recurring skin problems.

These herbs work synergistically to reduce toxins in the blood, fight pathogens, calm skin reactivity, and nourish skin cells for deep healing from within.
How to Take
Powder: Take 1 to 2 teaspoons in ½ cup warm water, twice daily—morning and evening.

Optional: Mix with 1–2 tablespoons of aloe vera juice to further cool and soothe the system, especially for dry or itchy skin.

Pair with or one or more of the following:
  • Acne Tea with Neem (SKU: 462) – Supports external skin clarity and liver detox
  • Liver Detox Formula (SKU: 180) – Enhances blood purification and skin detox
  • Blood Cleanser Tea (SKU: 437) – Encourages daily lymph and blood cleansing
  • Anti-Fungal Formula (SKU: 108) – For deeper fungal skin conditions and related infections
Tips & Notes
Dietary guidelines: Avoid dairy, sugar, wheat, fried foods, and nightshades. Favor a light, whole food plant-based diet with steamed vegetables, mung soup, bitter greens, and digestive spices (turmeric, cumin, ginger). Hydrate well and maintain regular bowel movements to aid detoxification.

Tip: For best results, dissolve powder in hot, just-boiled water, let cool slightly, and drink. This traditional method enhances absorption and effectiveness.

These Ayurvedic formulas are more powerful than teas, tinctures, or single herbs. Many contain up to 50 ingredients specifically selected to balance Vata, Pitta, or Kapha doshas and support long-term healing. Read each product description carefully before use.

For chronic or advanced skin issues, it is recommended to book a Zoom consultation with Khabir Southwick, who can prepare a custom herbal program and provide individualized dietary guidance.
